1960story asked:
How do you say I “helped” this political candidate in his political campain
I don’t want to use the verb to help, it’s for a resume
can I say I promoted a political candidate?
my tasks were to convince people to vote (on the phone), send people envelops reminding them of the election day, distributing sandwiches and water on the day of the election to the people who came to vote

You simply “campaigned” for the candidate.
I would be cautious stating a particular candidates name or party in a resume.
But I would use the term volunteer as previously stated.
Yes.
If it was a Democrat that you worked for, you can say: “I helped Expand Communism”.
well, you can use a noun like volunteer. i guess you can verb-ize it by using volunteering.
“I aided the candidate by….”
to endorse a political candidate ?
