How can a candidate win popular vote and still lose an election?
These people are turning our political system into a total joke!
I’m not sure if I should even vote anymore!

Please refer to the U.S. Constitution.

the political system in the usa is corrupt. money buys votes and powe. the people no longer count. as someone said, it’s not whose vote counts, it’s who counts the votes.

It’s how our system has worked for 200 years… it’s not as if it’s a newly developed thing that people have exploited only recently.

i agree that a popular vote would be much more fair though. i think the electoral college system is just a way to make it easier to tally votes. if someone is up by a lot, stop counting and give him the win (from state to state).

sucks, right?

Agree with you totally…

And for the record there isn’t a word about the primary system in the Constitution–the founding fathers didn’t think national parties would spring up. The primaries are just a strang, jury rigged thing…

Please do vote though…

I agree with you – it should be by popular vote.

Even though I don’t support either of these, I found it interesting that Hillary won the Nevada cauceses, but Obama got more delegates then she did in Nevada. Is that not messed up?
